SIPHON Doubles Revenues, Strengthens Management Team with Key Appointments

Cwmbran, 3rd February 2015. SIPHON, a leading Unified Communications (UC) solutions provider, announced today that it has made several key appointments to continue driving its growth in 2015.

Joining SIPHON as Sales Director for the UC Distribution business in the UK, Ciaran Bolger is tasked with building on a successful 2014, when year—on-year revenues doubled for the second year in succession. Ciaran joins from Snom UK where he was responsible for UK sales. He has significant experience in Voice over IP (VoIP) and UC Distribution as a result of having held several other sales related positions.

“I am delighted to be at SIPHON, to continue building on the substantial growth in its UC Distribution business through the compelling proposition that we offer our channel partners. Our continued alignment with emerging and disruptive technologies means that we offer genuine value added services as a technology-focused distributor” said Bolger.

In addition, SIPHON has appointed Giuseppe Fragale to formally establish a Microsoft UC practice. This will build on the initial work completed at VCOMM before it was integrated into SIPHON. Giuseppe has more than 20 years’ experience delivering complex and innovative ICT/Telecommunications projects and has an extensive background in Microsoft technologies having previously established a successful Microsoft UC Competence Centre at Maticmind, a large systems integrator in Italy. Giuseppe also spent 15 years at Italtel, the most important Telecom Italia partner, in various senior technical and project roles. He is a highly skilled Microsoft UC consultant and holds a number of Microsoft accreditations.

“Joining SIPHON is an exciting opportunity to build on the initial work that’s already been completed to bring Microsoft Lync 2013 (and soon, Skype for Business) solutions into the SIPHON portfolio. By formally establishing a Microsoft practice for the mid-market, SIPHON is able to make a unique offering to an often under-served market segment” said Fragale. “SIPHON has carved out a holistic approach to working with its partners, which involves the assessment, design, delivery and support of solutions that incorporate Microsoft UC technologies. My role will see this approach extended to include all Microsoft UC solutions”.

Managing Director of SIPHON, Steve Harris also commented on the appointments, “With our continued growth in the market for Unified Communications and Microsoft Lync, these appointments add further strength to our management team and will enable us to consistently deliver the customer service experience that continues to be a major contributor to our industry reputation as SIPHON.”
